Endhiran – Hardwork, Good Try……
As a critic I don’t want to go into the story and reveal it, because before being a critic I am a Rajini Sir’s Fan and I always respect Hard work.
The story is very simple a very old concept, Dr. Vaseegaran a scientist invents a Humanoid Robo called Chitti, Dr. Bhora head of the board and Guru to Dr. Vasee rejects Chitti from using it in Indian Army since it’s a machine which can cause harm to human beings. Then series of incidents take place when Vasee tries to import or incept the Human feelings into the Robo the things change. The Robo falls in Love with Sana the Lady Love of Vasee. Dr. Bhora uses this and tries to take control over Chitti and he attains it. Chitti grows wild kidnap’s Sana and Vasee saves her with his witty ideas and at last Chitti is dismandled and placed in the museum.
The Film is Really worth watching as it is first of its kind to Tamil Cinema and to Indian cinema too. After watching the movie I personally felt two things one is Shankar’s creativity is not executed well because of the budget constrains and If this movie had come up before 10 years as planned today it would have been remade into a Hollywood flick.
This is a typical Tamil Masala Entertainer with all its ingredients but with a different background.
Rajini is Awesome I hope the last half an hour performance as the Robo is a Land Mark performance. It remained me Netrikan’s Rajini. What a performance. No words to express.
Rahman and Resul have done a miracle in BGM as well as Songs, in the climax sequence the seats shook themselves. The symphonic melody that backed the end credits was remarkable.
Shankar great creativity, great great effort, Good sense of visualization and after all he has proved that he could do miracles and more feathers on the way to decorate your Crown.
The art department has really strained a lot in bringing continuity I was afraid of loss of continuity but superb.
Randy great, no flaws in lighting a movie which was in making for 2 years has come out without and difference in lighting that itself shows the effort and Hard Work.
As a Whole Good effort, Good try……
Tamil Cinema always Rocks…………………………..
yeah.. even I was reminded of Netrikan..
ReplyDeleteYeah I appreciate it..

Very gud review rizwan keep ur gud work going on
ReplyDeleteMy fav song frm this movie is Irumbiley Oru Irudhayam song awsum
Hey rizwan, i liked the way u criticized d movie but still i think i wont agree with certain points, in fact very few points, lets start with music, the work of rahman n rasool r awesome in BGM but am disappointed with the songs. i dint found the classiness in music which we usually get in shankar n rahman combo. But the work of Vairamuthu is mind blowing. i am damn sure he must have come through certain research for it.
ReplyDeleteam literally confused in ur point that "shankar's creativity is not executed well", what more u expect him to give. from the day i saw movie am just thinking it that wat will he do for his next project as he did everything in this.
In certain scene,I felt Aishwarya looked old. Believe me man Shankar is the master of brain. he has done extraordinary job in this movie.
Other then it as u told i loved the way Randy has pictured d movie, Sabu cyrils Hard work, more then everything i salute sun pictures for making this movie.
Last but not least.... Rajini sir.....
Wat a performance, he proved himself a super star again. i am puzzled why shankar sir approached Kamal Haasan sir, SRK, and Ajith for this role. i bet u guys no one can do this as well as rajini sir did. As u said he remained me Netrikan and moondru mugham.
i would like to mention the scene as a fan that he find Dr. Vaseegran in among robos "Antha Karuppu aadu MMMMMMMMMMMHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAA ngrare. it makes even a highly sophisticated people to scream in theatre.
It is a great try,lot of hard work, Determination, and they all succeeded in it
And am extremely sorry for giving such a huge comment guys..........
ReplyDeleteSunitha you have rightly said Shankar has bent himself to many compromises in the film in terms of Special effects His master brain has been made to compromise with certain budget related things. I adhere to your comment on Aishwarya. and when it comes to songs especially Rahman's music has lost its classic class from Boys now a days his melodies are just murmured for a months time not like Roja and much more... Thanks for your comment Suni Ji
